Personal Statement

 

   

   Next year, the pathway I want to explore is Game Design. My weakness consist mainly in the video edditing, a weakness which I'm trying to enchance. My strenghts are modeling skills and texturing, which I will also continue to further improve.

 

                                 Where do I see myself in:


2 Years - Complete Animation and Games Design Level 3 Extended Diploma, start University.

 

5 Years - Finish University, start working in Game Industry.

 

10 Years - Game Designer

Duration: 3 years

Entry Requirements: 280 points from GCE A Levels (or equivalent) including a qualification in fine art

Required GCSEs: GCSE Maths at a grade D or above and English Language at grade C or above

Bournemouth

Course: Games Technology BSc (Hons)

Duration: 3 years (or 4 years with a 40 week replacement)

Entry Requirements: 280 to 300 tariff points, including 3 A-levels, or equivalent qualifications. BTEC Extended Diploma: DMM

Required GCSEs: A minimum of 4 GCSEs or equivalent at grades A* to C, including English and Maths

 Since before I've started to learn about 3D design I knew what my goals were:

    To go to University, and learn everything I can from it, then find a job as a Game Designer. After University, I will probably start as a runner in the Game Industry, and work my way up to a Game Designer in time.

 

 

Opportunities for progression in art & design 

Show

 

  During the private show each student had to print 2 pictures from their work and make a 1 minute showreel. Then the pictures were displayed on boards and the showreels joined togheter and presented with a projector.
